Observatory Telescopes

Big prime focus telescopes for private or public observatories including installation and full service.

Robotic / Remote

Robotic instruments for automatic imaging or telescopes for remote observation.

UVEX Spectrograph

Uvex Spectrograph

The UVEX is a “crossed” Czerny-Turner spectroscope optimized for wavelengths from near UV (<350nm) to near IR (1µm).

Diffraction Limited CCD Kameras

Aluma CCD 695 a

Our most popular camera, the SBIG Aluma AC4040 is a large format Scientific CMOS camera, featuring a 16.8 megapixel sensor with 9 micron pixels.  The camera is compatible with the StarChaser SC-4 Guider and optional AO-X Adaptive Optics accessories.

ASA UWF600 f1.7 Ultra Wide Field telescope

ASA UWF600 f1.7 Ultra Wide Field telescope

One of the fastest telescopes of the world!

The UWF600 Astrograph has a super-fast 1.7 f-ratio, ideal for short exposure high SNR wide field surveys, possible to be combined on extra order with the ASA DDM200 Direct Drive mount fitted with absolute encoders.
The main mirror and the corrector can be collimated fully electronic to allow an easy and fast remote collimation. The focuser works with absolute encoder feedback.
It is the perfect system for fully automated imaging operation.

UWF600 Optical Layout

The UWF600 uses a prime focus configuration. The main mirror is a high order asphere and in the prime focus we use a 5 Lens corrector to correct any field aberrations in a wavelength range from 400nm to 700nm.

With the medium focal length it offers a very wide field in combination with a high resolution, especially in combination with modern small pixel CMOS sensors. It can also be arranged in arrays on our DDM mounts and can be a cost effective solution compared to fewer, larger telescopes.
